Overview

Irregular verbs do not follow standard rules of conjugation in the different verb tenses. The verb dar (conjugation) is irregular in the present subjunctive:

yo (I give)
des (you give)
Ud./él/ ella (you give)
nosotros (as) demos (we give)
vosotros (as) deis (you guys give)
Uds./ellos/ ellas den (you all/they give)

Let's look at some example sentences:

El maestro quiere que nosotros demos la tarea.
The teacher wants us to turn in the homework.

Muchachos, quiero que ustedes se den prisa.
Boys, I want you all to hurry.
