Overview

Regular verbs follow standard rules of conjugation. An irregular verb is one which does NOT follow standard rules of conjugation. Some example sentences using irregular verbs in the present tense are shown below:

No, yo salgo a caminar.
No, I go for a walk.
(No, I'm going for a walk.)

Vengo de la montaña.
I come from the mountain.
(I am coming from the mountain.)

Veo a mi madre.
I see my mother.

Voy a México.
I go to Mexico.
(I'm going to Mexico.)

Os lo agradezco.
I thank you all.

Yo sigo un camión.
I follow a truck.
(I am following a truck.)
