pudiste you were able
Ud./él/ella pudo you/he/she was able
nosotros/as pudimos we were able
vosotros/as pudisteis you all were able
Uds./ellos/ellas pudieron you all/they were able

Pude ir a la piscina.
      I was able to go to the pool.
¿Pudiste ayudar a Juan?
      Were you able to help Juan?
¡Qué lastima que ella no pudo venir!
      What a shame that she could not come!
No pudimos mover el piano.
      We were not able to move the piano.
Ellos no los pudieron traer.
      They couldn't bring them.
Uds. pudieron nadar ayer.
      You all were able to swim yesterday.
