Vivir preterite conjugation

Vivir means to live.
     Vivir is a regular -ir verb.
   To say lived, use the preterite ending.

yo viví I lived
viviste you lived
Ud./él/ella viv you/he/she lived
nosotros/as vivimos we lived
vosotros/as vivisteis you all lived
Uds./ellos/ellas vivieron you all/they lived

Viví en una zona peligrosa.
      I lived in a dangerous area.

Viviste en los ochentas.
      You lived in the '80s.

Ella vivió una vida solitaria.
      She lived a solitary life.

Vivimos en un submarino.
      We lived in a submarine.

     Vosotros vivisteis
      You all lived (familiar - only used in Spain)

Ellos vivieron en paz.
      They lived in peace.
