Step 1

Caminar means to walk.
     Caminar is a regular -ar verb.
 To say walked, use the preterite ending.

yo caminé I walked
caminaste you walked
Ud./él/ella caminó you/he/she walked
nosotros/as caminamos we walked
vosotros/as caminasteis you all walked
Uds./ellos/ellas caminaron you all/they walked

Yo caminé en el parque.
      I walked in the park.
Tú caminaste a la escuela.
      You walked to school.
Él caminó en la noche.
      He walked in the night.
Nosotros caminamos en el jardín.
      We walked in the yard.
     Vosotros caminasteis
      You all walked (familiar - only used in Spain)
Luis y Pedro caminaron al mar.
      Luis y Pedro walked to the sea.
Tú caminaste a la biblioteca.
      You walked to the library.
Rosa y Juana caminaron al cine.
      Rosa and Juana walked to the movies.
