You don't need to use the future indicative to speak about the future! In English, there are two ways to talk about future events:
I will sleep late tomorrow.
and
I'm going to sleep late tomorrow.
In a similar way, in Spanish we can form the future with the verb 
ir (conjugate), which means "go to". When used to talk about the future the verb ir means "going to". Sentences are formed using the formula below:
present tense of (ir) + a + infinitive = future
Some example sentences using the future tense are shown below:
Yo voy a buscar su carro ahora.
I'm going to search your car now.
Tú vas a llegar muy tarde.
You are going to arrive very late.
Usted va a trabajar con Marta.
You're going to work with Marta.
Marta va a estar bien, gracias.
Marta is going to be fine, thanks.
Ellas van a bajar del carro.
They're going to get out of the car.

Nicolás: ¿Qué vas a hacer este fin de semana?
Adriana: No sé todavía. Quiero hacer muchas cosas pero mi novio y yo tenemos gustos diferentes. Y tú, ¿qué vas a hacer?
Nicolás: Hoy voy a estudiar un poco, pero mañana, quiero hacer varias cosas. Durante el día, quiero visitar a mi hermana, y en la noche quiero ir a una fiesta o al cine. El domingo, quiero descansar y hacer ejercicio.
Adriana: ¿Haces ejercicios en tu casa?
Nicolás: A veces, pero realmente prefiero correr afuera o ir al gimnasio para levantar pesas. ¿Te gusta hacer ejercicio?
Adriana: Un poco. No me gusta correr ni hacer aeróbicos; prefiero bailar o jugar al tenis.
Nicolás: ¿Y vas a bailar durante el fin de semana?
Adriana: No sé, quiero ir a la nueva discoteca, pero a mi novio no le gusta bailar, el prefiere ir al cine o mirar televisión en casa. A veces le gusta ir a fiestas.
Nicolás: Si quieres bailar, podemos ir a la discoteca, porque me encanta bailar.
Adriana: ¿Qué tipo de música te gusta para bailar?
Nicolás: Un poco de todo, pero prefiero música rock o salsa. ¿Y tú?
Adriana: Pues, me encanta la música rock, pero salsa es mi favorita. Si no estás ocupado el próximo fin de semana quizás podemos ir.
Nicolás: O, si quieres, podemos ir hoy.
Adriana: ¿No tienes que estudiar?
Nicolás: Sí, pero también puedo estudiar el domingo. ¿A qué hora te paso a buscar?
Adriana: A las nueve y media. ¿Está bien?
Nicolás: Perfecto, te veo a las nueve.
