When we ask for the time, we can either ask in singular:
Disculpe, ¿qué hora es?
Excuse me, what time is it?
or plural: ¿Qué horas son? What time is it?
sometimes we add the preposition a:
¿A qué hora vienes? What time are you coming? ¿A qué hora abre el banco? What time opens the bank?
(What time does the bank open?) ¿Cuántas horas dura el viaje? How many hours lasts the voyage?
(How long is the trip?)
