I had heard a lot of great things about this school but I was disappointed. I thought some teachers were great but other were dreadful. One male teacher, S, was so mechanical and disengaged you could tell he was only there for a paycheck. I had private lessons as well with T and she kept yawning throughout lessons. I also hated the way that for one week you had morning lessons and the next week afternoon lessons. I work better in the morning and like to have my afternoons free but that's personal choice. Also, I felt they crammed too much into the two weeks I was there including the pretérito indefinido, pretérito imperfecto, el presente, the differences between SER and ESTAR, amongst others topics. I could just about keep up but I know other were struggling, in fact one Dutch woman changed classes. Social aspect of school were OK, guided walks, visits to attractions but overall I was disappointed and would not recommend this school nor would I go back. Visited September 2015

Taronja is the perfect school for those who want to improve their spanish while having fun and discovering the spanish culture. The staff is qualified, open-minded, and very concerned about the students well-being. Moreover the premises are located right in the city center and are well-decorated.This was my first language trip and it's been a great experience. Antoine
