The quality of the instruction is low and the price high relative to other schools. If you do one of their 3 week "special" programs it costs about US 1850 dollars which is crazy. Also the students in the special programs are just put on their regular classes because the whole school attracts on a few student at a time. They beg students to promote the school, because they have such a difficult time attracting students. Most students left earlier than they had planned when I was there. One bright spot is that they are comfortable with older male students with health problems related to AIDS or SIDA (Spanish). I think they charge these students lower rates. Students who are mobile and want or need to learn Spanish might want to check out other options.

I've been coming to this school since 2010 when I took my first trip to Mexico to learn Spanish. They came highly recommended for using popular education methodology to teach students. They maintain a uniquely progressive learning environment. The teachers are kind, patient and professional. The school approaches learning through a social justice framework and is particularly good for social service professionals, community development professionals and social activists. They are extremely LGBTQ friendly and their summer LGBTQ progam features a trip to Mexico City for the Pride March.
